Jeanette Harden, 80, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ surrounded by family. She was born March 17, 1937 in Chattanooga, Tenn. She lived in Tenn about 30 years prior to moving to Panama, Canal Zone. After living in the Canal Zone over 11 years, she moved to a variety of cities and states before settling in Phoenix, AZ. Jeanette held many jobs over the years but greatly enjoyed working for J.C.Penney, giving them over 30 years before retiring. She is preceded in death by her mother Mildred Horton. Jeanette Harden, 80, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ surrounded by family. She was born March 17, 1937 in Chattanooga, Tenn. She lived in Tenn about 30 years prior to moving to Panama, Canal Zone. After living in the Canal Zone over 11 years, she moved to a variety of cities and states before settling in Phoenix, AZ. Jeanette held many jobs over the years but greatly enjoyed working for J.C.Penney, giving them over 30 years before retiring. She is preceded in death by her mother Mildred Horton. She is survived by her husband, Johnny L. Harden III of over 62 wonderful years in marriage; three daughters, Karan, Debra and Donna; two grandchildren, Kandra and Brandon; five great-grandchildren, Alec, Stazia, Celine, Rei and Isabella; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was an amazing and powerful woman with a heart of gold. She will be missed by everyone who was touched by her in life. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, 9:00 a.m. at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix.
